A-MAZ Water Stain Remover is a deep-cleaning paste that lifts hard water spots, calcium, soap scum, oxidation, tarnish, salt spray, black streak and bluing from glass, metal and porcelain, restoring the surface to its original finish. Because it is a paste rather than a liquid or cream, it penetrates the surface instead of sitting on top of it.

How to use

1. Test on an inconspicuous spot first, as with any surface cleaner. On stainless steel, work with the grain.
2. Apply the paste with a damp A-MAZ Scrubber or Gripper Pad and rub until the stain lifts. Keep the paste moist with a spray of water. For large areas such as plate glass, tubs or pool tile, a light-duty pad on a low-speed drill buffer works well.
3. Rinse and dry.
4. Seal with A-MAZ Ultra Gloss Sealant to keep spots from coming back for months.

The remover restores stained glass; it cannot repair etching, which is permanent damage to the glass.

Frequently asked questions

Will it clean the rust ring in my toilet?
Iron, mineral deposits and soil can etch into porcelain over time. These stains are difficult but usually not impossible. Lower the water level (turn off the spigot under the toilet and flush), apply a generous amount of paste over the ring and let it stand for a minute, then rub with a wet pumice stone dipped in the paste until the ring is gone. Refill and flush. Apply Ultra Gloss Sealant right away with a damp cloth to keep the ring from returning for two to three months.

What surfaces does it work on?
Glass, metals and ceramics. These vary in hardness, so always test an inconspicuous area first. On stainless steel, apply with the grain.

Will it work on clear glass?
Yes. It was designed for clear glass. With no pumice or harsh chemicals it removes spots, film and crusty build-up from shower doors and safety glass. A light-duty pad helps.

Is it good for pool tile?
Yes. Hard water, oxidation and weather leave pool tile dull. Use a light-duty pad on a drill sanding-disc attachment or a low-speed buffer, keep the paste moist with a spray bottle, then seal with A-MAZ Sealant. Do not seal the bottom of a tub, which makes it slippery.

I have a fiberglass tub enclosure. Is it safe?
Yes. There is no gritty pumice or chloride in the formula. Test an area first; some older tubs are worn past the point of cleaning.

Can I use it on bullet-proof or shatter-resistant glass?
No. Laminated polycarbonate (Lexan, Tuffak, Cyrolon) and some shatter-resistant shower doors absorb moisture and etch, which makes them extremely difficult to clean.
