About A-MAZ
A-MAZ started the way most good cleaning products do: someone had a stain nothing would take off.
The Water Stain Remover was developed for hard water spots on glass, the cloudy film that builds up on shower doors, windows and windshields wherever the water is hard. The products on the shelf either did not work or worked by way of acids and harsh chemicals that were unpleasant in a small bathroom and hard on the fixtures. A-MAZ was formulated as a paste, with no acids, bleach, chlorides or gritty pumice, that lifts the mineral off the surface instead of dissolving it. It was safe to use in a closed room with bare hands, and it was, as the name says, amazing on glass.
Glass shops noticed first. For years the surest place to find a jar of A-MAZ has been on the counter of a glass and mirror store or a shower door installer, where it is what the people who handle glass every day recommend before anyone spends money replacing a panel. From there it spread to hardware stores, home shows and professional cleaners, and to the kitchens, cars and pools of customers who found it worked on far more than shower doors.
The line

- Scrubber Pad, a hand-sized no-scratch pad for delicate surfaces
- Shower Restoration Kit, the remover, the sealant and two pads in one box
Every product is made in the USA. The pads are made from recycled polyester, and the paste is biodegradable and septic-safe. We were green before it was a marketing word, and we have not seen a reason to change.
